Harvest is a time to give thanks. We take for granted the food that is so readily available in our shops or that is delivered to our door, but it is good to take a moment to reflect on all that goes into ensuring that we can have food on our table.

Money is a part of life, but it does not need to be master of our life. Christians, of course, want to serve God. We are called to follow his good commandments. But do we allow Money to be another master in our life?

Thanet Male Voice Choir – 11th October – CANCELLED
‘We Shall Overcome’ present Thanet Male Voice Choir in concert at St George’s Church on 11th October. Doors open at 7pm with the concert starting at 7:30pm. The proceeds will be shared between St George’s Church and East Kent Mencap.

As fables often have one key point, the boy who cried wolf teaches not to lie, the parables of Jesus have intrigued people to this day with how to interpret them, how deep their meaning runs, how many layers the stories have and whether they should be interpreted in multiple different ways or seen simply with one moral takeaway.

St. George’s Art Festival
The Art Exhibition will be displayed in the historic grade 1 Listed Church between 2-5 pm ( from 12 pm on Saturday ) from the 4th to the 13th of July
