How do we encourage our children and young people to have a growing faith that will stay with them and support them throughout their lives?
The church will be open, Saturday 10:00am to 12:00pm and Sunday 4:00-6:00pm for people to sign the book of condolences or pray. There will be a special commemoration service on Sunday at 6:00pm.
The church will be open for people to come and sit quietly to reflect, pray or light a candle in remembrance of the queen. It will initially be open, Friday 12-6pm and Saturday 10-3pm. There will be a book of condolences and people are welcome to leave flowers on the gates.
The church will be open as part of Heritage Open Days on Saturday 10th September, from 10am to 3pm. You can climb the tower and go to the Crypt.
On Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th September, St George’s church hosted the Ramsgate Festival of Sound.
The Regeneration Officer for St. George’s Church, Ramsgate is a new and exciting role created specifically to breathe new life into this much loved and iconic local landmark.
During August our church is open to visitors every Wednesday from 11am to 3pm. Pop in to have a look around. Everyone is welcome whether visitors to the town or locals who want to check out their local heritage.
Confirmation is the church’s way of adults making a public commitment to their faith to follow Jesus, either as a confirmation of their baptism as a child or alongside baptism as an adult.
