All are welcome to join us for this alternative to Halloween that celebrates God’s light rather than the dark things in the world. There will be food, fun and game for all ages. It will be in the main church building from 4:30-6:00pm.

Study Groups
These groups are not only a great place to come and ask questions about Sunday’s teaching and think more deeply about the Bible, but also to build deeper relationships with other Christians and to join with others in prayer for one another and the wider world.
Regeneration Officer Appointment
On Thursday, 6th October, four candidates were interviewed for the post of Regeneration Officer at St. George’s. We were delighted to have such a strong field of candidates. It is with great pleasure that we can announce that an offer has been made and accepted. More details will follow once all the necessary checks have been completed.
Joint Prayer Meetings
This is a great opportunity to gather for prayer and praise, to hear about some of the developments in our church life and to join with others in praying for them and other issues we are all facing.
Harvest Sunday 2nd October
On October 2nd we will have our joint Harvest Service at 10.30 , followed at 12 by a shared meal in the church hall.

Queen Elizabeth II in her own words
Commemoration Service for Queen Elizabeth II, Sunday 6pm
The church will be open, Saturday 10:00am to 12:00pm and Sunday 4:00-6:00pm for people to sign the book of condolences or pray. There will be a special commemoration service on Sunday at 6:00pm.
Remembering Queen Elizabeth II
The church will be open for people to come and sit quietly to reflect, pray or light a candle in remembrance of the queen. It will initially be open, Friday 12-6pm and Saturday 10-3pm. There will be a book of condolences and people are welcome to leave flowers on the gates.
It’s Heritage Open Day at St George’s this Saturday!
The church will be open as part of Heritage Open Days on Saturday 10th September, from 10am to 3pm. You can climb the tower and go to the Crypt.
